Dog Lost in Oakville House Fire

No other injuries were reported and the cause is still unknown for a house fire on White Pine Drive.

All residents got out safely, but one dog did not survive a house fire on the 5700 block of White Pine Drive.

The fire started around 6 a.m. Thursday, said Deputy Chief Dan LaFata with the Mehlville Fire Protection District.

Flames started in the basement of the home and quickly got into the attic, he said. The cause of the fire is still unknown and firefighters believe the home is a total loss.

You want to see a photograph of a poor dead dog? You're sick. This family has suffered enough, they don't need their tragedy on the front page.

Ashley, I really don't think Paula wanted to see a picture of the dead dog, she just wanted to see a picture of the dog.
