The few but fervent voters in this week's South County Food Fight have deemed Donut Stop in Lemay the best place for doughnuts in South County.

Thus endeth the final Food Fight of 2011. We'll come back strong after we get past New Year's Week with another Food Fight topic for Patch readers to battle about.

But until then, you decided that Donut Stop, with 44.2 percent of the vote, topped the other three nominees: Donut House in Affton (which got 5.8 percent); McArthur's Bakery in Mehlville (38.5 percent); and Olde Towne Donuts in Fenton (11.5 percent).

Look for the launch of our next Food Fight on Jan. 9.
