Four Mehlville Schools Named National Schools of Character Finalists
Out of nine Missouri schools selected as finalists, four are in the Mehlville School District.
In early February, the Mehlville School District announced that five more schools were named Missouri Schools of Character, joining another five that were already named to the list. Four of these schools have qualified as finalists to become National Schools of Character, according to a news release from the school district.
Beasley Elementary, Bierbaum Elementary, Hagemann Elementary and Mehlville High School have been selected for national consideration. Only nine schools in the state of Missouri have been selected as National Schools Of Character finalists.
National Schools of Character (NSOC) are selected for having reached a standard of excellence in the area of character development. If selected, the designation lasts for five years.
CEP will announce later this spring which of the new finalists will become National Schools Of Character.
