King Edward's in Crestwood Wins South County Fried Chicken Food Fight
In this week's Readers' Choice, the winner was decided by only a few votes. King Edward's edged Marty's Bistro.
King Edward's Chicken & Fish in Crestwood is the winner in this week's Food Fight, in which we asked readers for their choice for best fried chicken in South County and Arnold.
King Edward's won with 42 percent of the votes among the finalists, narrowly edging Marty's Bistro in High Ridge, which had 38 percent. The results (may not equal 100 percent because of rounding) among the other finalists were:
- Cracker Barrel in Oakville (4 percent).
- Croc's/Crusoe's in Oakville (5 percent).
- Gingham's Restaurant in Mehlville (4 percent).
- Malone's Neighborhood Grill & Pub in Crestwood (4 percent).
