Man Charged with Assaulting, Imprisoning Girlfriend in Mehlville
The woman told police he held her overnight against her will and threatened to kill her.
St. Louis County prosecutors charged a man April 23 for assaulting his girlfriend and holding her overnight.
Matthew Federhofer, 22, of the 12000 block of Washington Court in Maryland Heights, was charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment.
According to a St. Louis County Police report, Federhofer punched and choked his girlfriend Oct. 14 on the 9900 block of Meadow Acres Lane in Mehlville. He also forced her to stay overnight against her will, police said in the report. The woman told police he threatened to kill her.
Bond was set at $15,000.
