Police: Man Choked, Threatened to Tase Girlfriend
Police said several witnesses saw the incident.
A man choked his girlfriend and threatened to shoot her with a Taser he was holding Nov. 29 in the 2200 block of Pecan Drive.
Nicholas Ray Pirtle, 51, of Farmington, was charged Nov. 30 with second-degree domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
St. Louis County Police said several witnesses saw Pirtle choke his girlfriend and threaten to tase her.
Police said in a report that Pirtle has 20 felony convictions. He was sentenced in 1993 to 20 years in prison for four counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of stealing, three counts of resisting arrest, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of burglar tools.

Do the math, if he would have spent the whole 20 years in prison we wouldn't be reading about this would we!! I think it is about time that if you are sent to jail you spend the time there that you were sentenced for and you work for the privaledge of 3 meals and a roof over your head!
