Mehlville Schools Announces 2013-2014 Start, End Times
The district’s recently approved purchase plan for new buses will eliminate the need for a 9:15 a.m. start at some schools.
The Mehlville School District recently finalized school start and end times for its return to a three-tier bus system at the beginning of the 2013-2014 school year. The school district’s Board of Education approved the switch back to the system last month.

New start and end times are effective in August 2013:
- Mehlville and Oakville senior highs and Buerkle Middle will start at 7:20 a.m. and end at 2:05 p.m.
- Beasley Elementary, Bernard Middle, Blades Elementary, Oakville Middle and Washington Middle will start at 8:05 a.m. and end at 2:50 p.m.
- Bierbaum Elementary, Forder Elementary, Hagemann Elementary, Oakville Elementary, Point Elementary, Rogers Elementary, Trautwein Elementary and Wohlwend Elementary will start at 8:50 a.m. and end at 3:35 p.m.
- Morning sessions at the John Cary Early Childhood Center run 8:15-11:15 a.m., and 12:30-3:30 p.m. for afternoon sessions.
- Early Childhood sessions at Forder, Hagemann, Point, Rogers and Wohlwend have not been announced, according to a release from the school district.
