Mehlville High School senior Ethan Wagner will learn the ins and outs of the sports business when he attends a summer academy at Saint Louis University.

The Sports Business Summer Academy hosted by SLU’s John Cook School of Business is a three-and-a-half day program that teaches students the basics of sports business.

Wagner will hear presentations from the faculty as well as business professionals. The group will also visit Busch Stadium and Rams Park, where they’ll talk with sports executives.

At the end of the academy, teams will create a promotional campaign for the men’s basketball team at SLU.
