Oakville Man Resisted Arrest, Police Say

St. Louis County Police said the man wrestled with officers who tried to arrest him at his home for unlawful use of a weapon.

 

An Oakville man was charged for resisting arrest Saturday in the 7100 block of Coram Drive.

St. Louis County Police said they were arresting Keith Powell, 58, at his home for unlawful use of a weapon when he pulled away and began wrestling with officers.

Powell, of the 7100 block of Coram Drive in Oakville, was charged with resisting arrest on Sunday in St. Louis County Circuit Court.

Powell posted 10 percent of a $10,000 bond and was released from St. Louis County jail Tuesday.
