I worked with him and he had a serious drug problem. I am guessing that is what led to this incident happening.

If the St. Louis county police (Oakville) had been doing there job this assault could have been prevented. Nick Welch has been arrested for stealing on multiple occasions. He has stolen thousands of dollars in medications, jewelry, and many other expensive and irreplaceable items. If he was in the prison system (where he belongs) this would not have happened. There is no reason that Nick Welch could not have been convicted of these crimes, and jailed, a long time ago. I guess being a thief just isn't a big enough deal to the local police who are to busy busting kids in the park smoking cigarettes and riding skateboards. Just wanted to shed some light on the real problem here... But don't get me wrong, I'm not sticking up for the victim whom was also known for heavy drug use and other various crimes, needless to say neither of them are upstanding members of society. P.s. DO NOT CONFUSE NICK WELCH WITH HIS BROTHER RYAN! Ryan is nothing like his brother and is not a criminal regardless of what the St. Louis county BABYSITTERS (police) say.
