Police Blotter: Car, Business Set on Fire; Victim Choked

The St. Louis County Police Department released news of the following incidents from Oct. 1-7.

 

The South County precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department handled the following incidents October 1 through October 7.

October 1

Electronics were reported stolen from the 3600 block of Vescovo Drive. 

October 2

A compound bow worth more than $500 was stolen from the 4400 block of Lemay Ferry Road.

Electronics worth more than $500 were stolen from the 4500 block of Lemay Ferry Road.

Copper piping was stolen from the 1300 block of Wachtel Ave. 

October 3

A gray 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from the 2100 block of Lemay Ferry Road. The license plate reads SE4U6E.

A white 2004 Ford Explorer, a suitcase and a weed trimmer were stolen from the 1200 block of Lemay Ferry Road. The license plate reads SA2F7B. 

October 6

A purse, wallet, credit and debit cards, a cell phone and a checkbook were stolen from the 300 block of Halsey Street.

Police arrested a suspect and recovered stolen items in the 700 block of Lemay Ferry Road. A purse, credit and debit cards, money, checks and keys were recovered.

Prescription medication was stolen from the 5400 block of Chatfield Drive.

October 7

A victim was choked in an assault in the 5700 block of Telegraph Road.

A purse, wallet, debit card, prescription medication, jewelry, a camera and money were stolen from the 7100 block of Caprock Drive.

A business and vehicle were burned in what police are calling an arson incident in the 200 block of Wachtel Avenue.
