Brother Joel Lechner, O.S.M., received the Kiwanian of the Year Award from the Kiwanis Club of South County - St. Louis for his service to the club and the community. He is shown receiving a plaque from 2011-12 President Ed Kurmann at the recent Installation Meeting.

Congratulations to Souh County Kiwanian of the Year Joel Lechner and Hixon Fellowship Award winner Gerry Abeln.
The Kiwanis Club of South County – St. Louis installed their new officers and honored Lechner and Abeln at their last meeting.
The new officers are: Past MO-ARK District Governor Barbara Thompson, Secretary Rick Kircher, President-elect Louann Elledge, President Lee Bodendieck, Vice-President Ed Kurmann, Treasurer Vern Langenfeld, and Division 9 Lt. Governor Don Leupold.
Thompson presented Abeln with the Hixson Fellowship Award, one of the highest awards bestowed upon a member for service to the club and the community.
