A South County man faces criminal charges after St. Louis County Police said he choked a woman Sunday.

Reginald Daugherty, 26, of the 10200 block of Marble Arch Lane in South County, was charged with second-degree domestic assault.

St. Louis County Police said Daugherty grabbed the woman and choked her at his home.
