There are not enough wonderful adjectives in the dictionary to adequately describe this week's "Pooch of Week". Fawks is sweet, fun-loving, handsome and so much more. You'll just have to meet him to see for yourself how truly awesome he is!
Scruff and I arrived at the Stray Rescue shelter on Tuesday morning. Scruffy was
initially a little nervous when he first met Fawks. Even though Scruff comes with me to the shelter every Tuesday, he seems to always be a bit anxious. Scruff is a Stray Rescue alum, and although he didn't live at the shelter very long, every time we head down there, he thinks it is to return him. That will never happen, Mr. Scruff, they don't call it a forever family for nothing!
Scruff soon relaxed once he realized how laid back Fawks was. This 2-year-old Terrier mix was such a good boy on the car ride to The Watering Bowl; he chilled in the backseat with a smile on his face the whole car ride. He was also on his best behavior at TWB. He spent his day making new friends, big and small, and exploring the place. He was a happy, content and tuckered out pooch at the end of the day.
Fawks would make an excellent member to any family. He is currently mastering the art of "sit" and is eager to learn even more. He is sweet as can be and would absolutely love to play all day and then cuddle up at night with his new family. For more information on this friendly boy, visit Stray Rescue!
