Squatty Potty: Important details on using "The Throne"

Today I'm talking about something pretty personal--going to the bathroom.

I've been using a product for a few months now and I wasn't sure if I would even talk about it, because you know, it's about "going."  But it has made a big difference for me, so I actually feel obligated.

Check out this quick video I did to explain:

Hey Robin, Elaine is a holistic health coach that talks about all aspects of the lifestyle and yes, she composes video blogs so there is not much written content.

I saw that - I looked before I leaped, so to speak. Seems as though Patch has a lot of blogs that are simply advertising. Not saying this is one of those, but sometimes there's a fine line between providing information and pushing one's product or own website. Patch has platforms for paid advertising and announcements and events, and sometimes the lines are blurry.

Is this really important information? Come on people! Use your brains for something besides a hat rack.

I think what makes Patch great is that it offers people the opportunity to blog about whatever they like. If you don't like a subject skip over it. Don't knock what another person is doing. I thought the video was informative.

Seems to me that most of these are ads - a couple sentences and a link to another page to download or buy something doesn't really make for a blog. A lot of the links are blocked or missing.... I did read Elaine's articles in a health magazine, and they were very informative. It's not the subject, my issue was content.

Thanks for the comments! I apologize if this video offended anyone. My intent is always to educate. While it is an icky subject, it's real and I have experienced personal issues in the area of digestion and elimination and know that many others do as well. As a coach/counselor, I have seen this info, when put into practice, work wonders for people!
That being said, I will be more aware of the sensitive nature of the info I present in the future and attempt to be more politically correct on Patch.

There’s a big difference between using a footstool like the Squatty Potty and really squatting. The footstool method is much less effective and should be reserved for those who are incapable of squatting. I suggest you have a look at this discussion of the subject: http://www.naturesplatform.com/faq.html#footstools

I’m glad that the Squatty Potty is helping bring awareness about squatting. But it is unfortunately spreading misinformation about HOW to squat.
