Mehlville Optimist Club hosts its annual Junior Golf Tournament at Quail Creek Golf Course. Golfers from ages 14 to 18, boys and girls, are invited to compete in four brackets:
- Boys 14 - 15
- Girls 14 - 15
- Boys 16 - 18
- Girls 16 - 18
The winner of each bracket receives free registration in the Optimist International District Meet at Whitmoor Country Club on June 9. There, they will compete to qualify for the Optimist International Junior Golf Tournament in Palm Beach, Florida. Non-winners may still enter the qualifying match on June 9, but are responsible for their own $75 entry fees.
The entry fee for the Pre-qualifying Junior Golf Tournament is $25 and covers green fees and lunch. Make checks payable to "Mehlville Opt. Club - Golf Entry." Entry forms (see attachments) should be turned in by May 30. Forms can be e-mailed to Dick Smith at resco4u@charter.net or mailed to:
