On Friday, March 15,2013, Lemay Child & Family Center is hosting our sixth annual Stand Up For Kids fundraising event at Royale Orleans Banquet Center. In addition to live Irish music and comedy, the event will include both live and silent auctions.
Comedian Joe Marlotti will headline our event this year. Comedian Dan Chopin will return to our event as the opening comedy act and the emcee. Once again the evening will include dinner, drinks, and an all-around good time for all.
Proceeds from the event help to support Lemay Child & Family Center’s scholarship program, which makes high-quality early childhood education available to any family, regardless of their financial situation. In today’s economy, more families than ever before are turning to Lemay Child & Family Center to provide nurturing care and education for their young children. We are currently providing more than $40,000 in scholarship support to families every month.
