The Friends of South County Skaters is proud to announce the 24th Annual Sweetheart Open ice skating competition running February 8-10, 2013. The event will be held at
the Wayne C. Kennedy Recreation Complex (6050 Wells Ave., St. Louis, MO 63128). The ice rink is home to the
Blade Brigade Synchronized Skate Teams.
324 skaters and 18 teams will compete in a wide variety of individual, couples and team events. Hours are Fri. 5-8:30 pm, Sat. 9 am–9 pm and Sun. 9 am-3:30 pm.
Admission is FREE and the public is encouraged to
come enjoy the beauty of ice skating.

More About Kennedy Recreation Complex
The Kennedy Recreation Complex and Park is located on Wells Road. The park has an olympic size pool, skating rink, playground and a golf course. The complex in the center of the park also offers exercise classes. Picnic areas and two tennis courts round out the facilities. Facilities and activities are available for the entire family.
