College Is Possible - Jefferson College Extended Enrollment Hours Aug. 17

To make fall registration more convenient for those who work or have other responsibilities during the week, Jefferson College will have extended registration hours at Hillsboro, Arnold and Cedar Hill from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, for classes that begin the week of  August 19.

To make attending college more accessible for any student who works or has family responsibilities, a variety of scheduling options, such as day, evening, Saturday, once-a-week, and online classes, is available. A complete list of classes is listed on the Jefferson College website at www.jeffco.edu under the “Class Schedule” link. Not all classes are available at all locations.

Academic advisors, admissions/registration, and financial aid personnel will be available throughout the day to answer questions regarding specific college-related issues and available associate degree and technical certificate programs. Participants may also pay fees and obtain a parking sticker in a convenient “one stop” setting. Registrants should bring a photo ID.

Recent ACT or COMPASS test scores (within the last two years) are required to enroll in classes. In order to complete the COMPASS test on August 17, participants will need to be at the Testing Center by 11:30 a.m. and present photo identification. No appointment is necessary.

In addition to the main campus in Hillsboro (Student Center – 1000 Viking Drive), classes are offered at Jefferson College-Northwest in Cedar Hill (6471 Cedar Hill Road) and at Jefferson College-Arnold (1687 Missouri State Road).

Advisors are also available at the three sites throughout the week (Monday-Friday during the day and evening.
