Jefferson College Hosts Social Work Career Workshop Nov. 21

As a way to provide ongoing information about various careers and employment possibilities, the Jefferson College Advising and Retention Center will host a “Careers in Social Work” workshop on Thursday, November 21, from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in Room 323 at Jefferson College Arnold, located at 1687 Missouri State Road.

The free informational workshop is open to everyone.

The workshop will provide an opportunity to learn more about careers in the rewarding field of social work. Professionals will be present to discuss various practice settings and answer questions. Social Work career paths will include foster care and adoption, hospital and medical social work, school social work, substance abuse counseling, and individual and family counseling.
