Founded in 1992, Friends of Kids with Cancer began when Molly Henry and Suzie Snowden, parents of children in treatment for cancer, teamed up with Jill Turec, a developmental specialist at Mercy Children’s Medical Center. They saw a great need for fun and diversion to be more prominent in the lives of children who have to go through cancer treatments.

Devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood-related diseases, Friends of Kids with Cancer provides educational, emotional, and recreational programs for kids.
