$100,000 Missouri Lottery Ticket Sold in Mehlville

The winnings will help this Missouri woman celebrate her 30-year anniversary with her husband.

A Missouri woman is $100,000 richer after buying a winning Missouri Lottery ticket from a Mehlville shop. 

Patricia Jeambey, 57, bought the ticket from Captain Z's in Mehlville, according to a news release from the Missouri Lottery. She won playing “$1,000,000 Classic Cash,” the release notes.

“It was so exciting,” stated Jeambey in the news release. “There were five or six different winners on there, and each time I scratched another one, my heart just started beating a little bit faster.”

Jeambey is from Advance, MO, a small community southwest of Cape Girardeau. She plans to spend her winnings on bills and saving for retirement.

But that's not all — Jeambey also will spend the money on a Caribbean cruise to celebrate her 30-year anniversary with her husband, Jim.
