Kids Travel the Globe at Cliff Cave Library

Children hop the continents at Cliff Cave Library during the summer reading club opening party; a day full of arts and crafts; and games.

Saturday afternoon, children explored their way through continents and cultures with crafts from around the globe.This globe trotting party kicks off the summer reading club at .

Children made everything from maracas to paper lanterns to marshmallow igloos.

"Their teachers focused on a lot of global reading this year with the summer reading lists. And just this Monday we did fairy tales from around the globe here at the library," said Kim Miner, the Cliff Cave Library Youth Specialist, who put together the event.
