209 Transfer Students Coming to Mehlville School District
More than 2,000 students from Riverview Gardens and Normandy school districts have decided to transfer out of the unaccredited education facilities.
The Cooperating School Districts (CSD) released preliminary figures showing a district by district breakdown of how many students have transferred from the Riverview Gardens and Normandy school districts, on late Tuesday.
In Mehlville, Riverview Gardens' school district of choice, there is a total of 209 students placed at the schools. A little more than 300 students who did not get placed in their first, second or third choice districts are still in the process of getting placed, according to CSD.
Here is a breakdown by district (Estimated Number of Student Placements as of August 6):
