Early or Late Breakfast is Served Anytime at First Watch

Overslept and missed breakfast? No worries. If you're hungry for pancakes at noon or burgers at 7 a.m., First Watch aims to satisfy your craving.

Hungry for breakfast but you overslept, and it’s noon? No worries. Late risers looking for bacon and eggs served for lunch need only find their way to First Watch in Dierbergs Telegraph Plaza.

“I like to say we’re the best keep secret here,” said Oakville’s First Watch Manager Les Whitehall, remarking how his store is often overlooked in the busy plaza anchored by Dierbergs.

“You can stop in anytime during our hours and have breakfast for lunch or lunch for breakfast,” he said.

“I love you more than bacon” was the message printed on my band, which motivated me to order bacon with my blueberry pancakes.

“The messages are different and was an idea we got from our staff. It’s just a little something different that’s been fun for our customers,” Whitehall said.

Beyond bacon, the breakfast and brunch items include the traditional eggs, omelets and biscuits along with unusual items as crepeggs, which are crepes rolled with fillings such as scrambled eggs, potatoes, turkey, mushrooms and hollandaise.

"Eggs-clusives" are heartier brunch items. Top picks are the chickichanga (a gourmet-style breakfast burrito), skillets and the classic Eggs Benedict.

Chicken is a featured ingredient in the entrée salads such as the Cobb, Pecan Dijon and No. 5 Asian Salad. Multigrain, wheat and sourdough breads are the base for sandwiches and burgers. A subtle approach to making healthier sandwiches, patrons can choose leaner meat cuts including opting for a Turkey Reuben instead of corned beef.
