Mehlville Optimist Club Barbecue

The Mehlville Optimist Club is holding its annual barbecue this weekend in the parking lot of Old Navy at Lemay Ferry and Mehl Ave. They will be serving up ribs, chicken, pork steak and bratwurst dinners from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Rib dinners are $9, and chicken, port and brats are $7. All dinners come with beans, cole slaw and bread. Proceeds from the event support the Optimist Club in its efforts to provide programs and fundraisers benefiting youth and communities in Mehlville, Oakville and elsewhere in South County.
