Feed My People Celebrates 30 Years of Helping Others

The food pantry will have a fashion show celebration April 28.

, one of the area's largest and oldest food pantries, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a fashion show and luncheon April 28. 

The lunch will be held at on Buckley Road at 11 a.m.

“This is one of the largest events ever produced for Feed My People and I am honored to be coordinating this exciting event,” said Roy Wunsch, Fashion Show Director.

Tickets for the event are $25 and include lunch and entertainment. Tables can also be purchased for $250. The clothing in the fashion show will come from the thrift store and has been repurposed by design students at South Tech High School. 

John and Carol DeGuire started Feed My People 30 years ago. The organization now has two locations, one on Kingston Drive and another in Fenton.

All proceeds will benefit the food pantry and clients of Feed My People.
