Holiday Inn-Butler Hill Celebrates Grand Reopening

A ribbon cutting, lunch and happy hour were part of the day's activities.

This week the Holiday Inn at Butler Hill celebrated an approximate million dollar renovation with a ribbon cutting, lunch and a happy hour for local business people.

The location at Butler Hill has been in existence since the 1970s, and new ownership believed it was time for a change.

Lee Ann Howlett, director of sales, said that the Holiday Inn had not been renovated for several years.

Guest rooms, the lobby, the restaurant, the Holidome area, the lounge and business center have now all received upgrades. Now guests can look forward to new carpet and wallpaper in guest rooms, as well as 37-inch flat screen TVs. Guest rooms also have new curtains, mirrors, and ergonomic chairs. The fitness center has new state-of-the-art equipment. There also are new flat screen TVs in the lobby, restaurant and lounge.

Guests were treated to lunch, or a happy hour with appetizers and drinks and a free nights’ stay at the hotel.

Future guests can look forward to a brunch from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, April 24. Prices are $16.95 per person, $7.95 for children ages 4-12 and children under 3 eat for free.
