South County Caterers Opening New Restaurants on Telegraph Road

Get your taste buds ready for two new spots on Telegraph Road--Italian-influenced Casalone's and Cafe Telegraph.

Two new restaurants are coming to Telegraph Road--and they're both from familiar faces to the Mehlville and Lemay dining scene.

Genesis Catering owner Matt Casalone is opening an Italian-influenced family restaurant near his banquet hall, St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Casalone told the Post-Dispatch carry-out will be available for families on the go.

Post-Dispatch is also reporting that the long-awaited Cafe Telegraph will finally open in the former Rec Room up the road in Lemay. The spot will offer pizza for those St. Louisans who aren't so in love with provel, according to the report.

Both of these restaurants received $10,000 Port Authority Facade Improvement Grants from the St. Louis County Port Authority, according to the St. Louis County Facebook page.
