New Sushi Restaurant Passes St. Louis County Inspection

See how your favorite restaurants fared on St. Louis County Department of Health inspections.

Patch examined inspection reports in Mehlville, Oakville and Affton in July and August. Information has been compiled using publicly available data published to the website of the St. Louis County Health Department

Restaurants are rated on a scale of A to C, with A being the best. Inspectors also give a score indicating the percentage of compliance with inspection standards. 

The health department inspects restaurants on a routine basis unless otherwise noted.

Grade: A (98)
Comments: Many food items in the walk-in refrigerator were not covered or stacked properly. There was also debris build-up on the hand sink, dish machine and refrigeration.

, 5828 Lindbergh Boulevard
Inspection date: Aug. 1
Grade: A (98)
Comments: The shake refrigeration unit had a large amount of melted ice cream and there were broken floor tiles in front of the fryers.

, 130 South County Center Way
Inspection date: Aug. 7
Grade: A (100)
Comments: This visit was a follow-up where Hepatitis A records were incomplete, food contact surfaces were not cleaned and sanitized and wiping cloths were not properly stored.

Comments: This visit was a follow-up where the facility couldn’t provide Hepatitis A vaccination documentation for all employees. Grout and tiles were broken in the walk-in cooler and mop sink.  On another follow-up Aug. 20, the restaurant had all records and fixed the tiles.
