New York-Style Pizza Finds a Home at Racanelli’s

Pizza connoisseurs need only to travel as far as Fenton to find authentic New York-style pizza at . Following in the tradition of famed Brooklyn pizzerias, Racanelli’s crust is hand tossed, brick oven baked and made-to-order using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

“We do make everything fresh--everything from the sauce to hand grating the cheese,” said owner Rich Hess, who recently purchased the business. Hess plans to expand the restaurant's already large menu to include even more Italian specialties and to offer outdoor dining in the spring.

To satisfy the hungry, Racanelli’s pizza sizes are generous. They range in size from 14 to 18 inches with the option of buying by the slice, which is still a heavy piece of pizza, considering it's one eighth of a 22-inch pizza.

Whether you order slices or whole pies, anything on the menu can be ordered to dine in or carryout, including Racanelli’s specialties, calzones and strombolis. 

Super Bowl weekend is the busiest day nationwide for pizzerias. Racanelli’s is ready with a full catering menu for small or large events. Its featured party pick is Racanelli’s Rac Pack Ultimate Pizza Package that serves 10 or or more for $7.50 a person. The Rac Pack includes pizza, a small tray of garden or Caesar salad and 10 fresh-baked brownies or cookies.
