Pools Inspected, Ready for Summer

The St. Louis County Health Department inspected area pools.

Patch examined inspection reports in Mehlville, Oakville and Affton in June where several area pools were inspected. 

Information has been compiled using publicly available data published to the website of the St. Louis County Health Department

Unless otherwise noted, all inspections were conducted on a routine basis.

-Holidome Pool, 4234 Butler Hill Road
Inspection date: June 4
Comments: The water was partly cloudy, but the main drain is visible.

Blackwoods Condo Association Pool, 4278 Kay Lane
Inspection date: June 4
Comments: The pool is missing a “No Swimming Alone” sign.

Brookshire Condo Association Pool, 4175 Paule Avenue
Inspection date June 4
Comments: The pool is missing a cover on the drain and needs depth markers.

Monreale Condo Association Outdoor Pool, 4229 Burnet Walk Street
Inspection date: June 4
Comments: The inspector was not able to get into the pump room or see if the Chlorine/Bromine NSF was approved. The pool had no CPO records.

Cedar Creek Lodge Pool, 7912 Olde English Road
Inspection date: June 4
Comments: Chlorine tablets found in the skimmers need to be removed before opening and skimmers are missing wires and need to be installed. The hand railing also needs to be tightened.
