Jefferson College President Cummiskey Contract Extended to 2017

The Jefferson College Board of Trustees has extended the contract of President Dr. Raymond Cummiskey by an additional year, through June 30, 2017.

 

Cummiskey has been president of Jefferson College since 2009, during which time the institution has grown significantly with the expansion of educational sites and facilities in Imperial, Arnold, and Cedar Hill. The college has additionally created JC Online, a fully online virtual campus, implemented a long-range strategic planning process, and instituted a variety of new healthcare training programs.

Cummiskey holds numerous leadership roles in civic, economic, workforce, and community development groups including the Jefferson County Growth Association (JCGA), St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association (RCGA), Missouri Community College Association Presidents and Chancellors Council, Hillsboro Rotary Club, SSM St. Clare Health Center Community Advisory Board, and area Chambers of Commerce (Arnold, DeSoto, Hillsboro, Northwest, and Twin City); East-West Gateway Council of Governments; Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation; Highway 21 Task Force; Jefferson College Foundation; and Jefferson County YMCA Board.
