Josh Voegtli, CPA, Named Chief Financial Officer of Guarantee Electrical Co.

ST. LOUIS – Josh Voegtli, CPA, has been named chief financial officer of Guarantee Electrical Co. In that role, Voegtli oversees information technology and human resources, exercises financial control of company assets, and cultivate the firm’s banking, bonding and insurance relationships. Announcing the promotion was Douglas Mertzlufft, Guarantee president.

Voegtli, 36, joined the company in 2012 as controller. Previously, he was manager of internal audit at Sigma-Aldrich Corp. He also worked for more than 10 years in public accounting.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with concentrations in accounting and finance, from Fontbonne University in St. Louis.

St. Louis-based Guarantee consistently ranks among the largest electrical contractors in the U.S. The company provides full-scope electrical contracting, including preconstruction, construction, design-build, design-assist, value engineering, procurement, service and preventive maintenance.
