Oakville falls 1 short in the first game of the Semi Finals Friday night

The Oakville Varsity Ice Hockey team needs 2 wins tonight to advance to the the Challenge Cup Finals

Oakville lost to CBC Friday night in game 1 of the Semi Finals by a score of 1-0.

The Oakville defense was huge in the game and Jost had another stellar night in the net, blocking 27 of 28 shots on goal.

Oakville will play CBC again tonight and must win to push a mini game 3.  With a win from the Tigers in game 2, the mini game will start 2 minutes after the second game ends.  The mini game will be 10 minutes of regulation play.  If the teams are tied at the end of the 10 minute regulation play, there will be a shootout until a winner is determined.

Game time is 6:00pm @Hardee's Ice Plex in Chesterfield.  Come out and show your support for the Oakville Tigers.  They have played great hockey all year long and need our support tonight in winning 2 more games to get the the Challenge Cup Finals @ Scottrade Center on 3/04/13
