Why Go: Hear great music by the students of the Mehlville School District. If you've got a craving for the arts, don't pay a huge price or travel far, talent is right next door.

Baby Mania
When/Where: Saturday, May 14 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Mehlville High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road
Why Go: In what has exploded into a massive event with hundreds of vendors, the Mehlville M.O.M.S. Club Baby Mania sale features new and used toys, clothing, furniture and equipment for babies, children and expecting mothers.

When/Where: Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m. at Mehlville High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road
Why Go: If you got tired of classical music from the all-district concert, head out for some garage band sounds at Mehlville High School. The showcase features local bands and benefits Hands of Hope, a charity for helping crisis women and children in Africa.
Cost: $5

When/Where: Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Hagemann Elementary School, 9625 Tesson Ferry Road
Why Go: Get started early on your summer reading list by going to the buy one, get one free Hagemann book fair. All proceeds will benefit Ready Readers, an organization dedicated to inspiring preschoolers from low-income families to love reading. Contests, book-readings, raffles and Clifford, the Big Red Dog will also make an appearance from 11-12 p.m.

When/Where: Saturday, May 14 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 796 Buckley Road
Why Go: Concessions will be available all day at this fun, eclectic sale. The parking lot will be filled with vendors selling anything and everything. Stop by to find a rarity—one man's trash is another man's future garage sale item. 
Cost: Free

Mehlville Athletic Districts
When/Where: Baseball: Saturday, May 14 at 12:30 p.m. at Hillsboro High School. Track: Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m. at Oakville High School 
Why Go: If books, sales or music isn't your style, head out for some good, old-fashioned sports. The Mehlville High School Panthers have district competitions in track and baseball this weekend.
