Good Morning: Board OKs Superintendent's Future Plan

The new plan would build tennis courts and a new auditorium for the district.

Good Morning Mehlville and Oakville:

  • Weather: The National Weather Service keeps teasing us with snow. Today, they're calling for a chance of flurries before noon with a high of 35 degrees.

  • The Mehlville School Board met last night and discussed their budget planning in reference to facilities. Superintendent Eric Knost presented a future plan that arranged for new tennis courts, an auditorium and a stronger facilities budget, all accomplished without a tax increase or depleting the district's reserves. The board gave its approval for the superintendent to move forward with the plan, along with funds to further the if successful. Look for a story with details on Monday.
