  • Weather: It's going to be hot, but better than last week according to the National Weather Service. Today will reach 93 degrees and temperatures will stay in the 90s all week with the sun shining.  
  • Gas: Everyone is still at $3.59 except for the Sam's Club and the Union and Greenpark Phillips 66. They're at $3.54 and $3.57, respectively, according to stlouisgasprices.com.

  • Did anyone notice the congestion at highway 270 and 44 this weekend? MoDOT is doing bridge work and closed the southbound 270 ramp to east 44. The work should be completed by 5 p.m. today, but could still cause some slow-downs. 

  • Later today, we'll learn about a 1860s gem in Jefferson Barracks in our summer column, Life in the Parks. Later in the week, Patch will make a big announcement and let you know about a great upcoming event. 

  • Did you know? The same city in Missouri holds the national record for the warmest and coldest temperature? Warsaw, MO recorded -40 degrees in 1905 and 118 degrees in 1954.
