Good Morning: Mehlville and Oakville Girls Advance in District Basketball

Good Morning Mehlville and Oakville: 

• Weather: Today's temperatures will climb to 55 today, even though the skies will be cloudy. It's also supposed to be windy, according to the National Weather Service.  

• Thank you! Just wanted to give everyone a big thank you. If you didn't know, I broke my leg in the beginning of January and have been on crutches and unable to drive for the last few weeks (seems like years). I'm back in action as of yesterday, but I just wanted to thank everyone who has sent me news tips, given me rides and general words of support. I've missed being out and about in Mehlville and Oakville and am looking forward to returning. 
  
  
• In case you missed it, both Mehlville and Oakville girls basketball teams won in the first round of districts Monday night. They'll both play again tonight; Oakville at 5 p.m. and Mehlville at 7 p.m. Later today, we'll have a story on how the boys teams did, as Mehlville and Oakville faced each other in round one.
