Good Morning Mehlville: Fire Chief Resigns and Weekend Lane Closures

Good morning, Mehlville!

• Weather: Here comes the sun! The National Weather Service is predicting mostly sunny with a high around 81 degrees. 

• Gas: Sam's Club and Phillips 66 at Union and Green Park is the lowest at $3.39 a gallon. The Lindbergh and Union Phillips 66 is at $3.41 while the Tesson Ferry Quik Trip is at $3.46, according to stlouisgasprices.com. 

• At last night's Mehlville Fire Board meeting, the board approved the resignation of Fire Chief Tim White. Next week, look for a follow-up. Also, we added another blogger yesterday. • This weekend, MoDOT is closing the two southbound lanes on Interstate 55 at Union Road from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. and the two northbound lanes from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Also, weather permitting, crews will have lanes closed on Interstate 270 at 44. The two left lanes will close at 8 p.m. Friday, but will open early Saturday. The two right lanes will be closed Saturday until Sunday afternoon.
