Military Funeral Honors Area Coordinator – Applications accepted until Oct. 19.

  • The coordinator will earn between $2,383.00 - $2,465.00 per month and work under the supervision of the Eastern Area Supervisor, Military Honors Program. The person hired will have four years experience and will coordinate with a certain region’s funeral homes, funeral home directors, and veterans’ service organizations about the procedure and availability of Missouri Military Honors Program support.
  • Duties include: Ensure support is approved and coordinate support with the appropriate agency; Assist in training veterans’ service organization honors teams; Ensure teams meet the minimum standards for certification; maintain certification records; present the Missouri Military Honors Program to county, local, and civic groups. Management may change the coordinator’s duties, formally or informally, verbally or in writing. Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Maxim Healthcare, a Lemay-based healthcare organization, is searching for RNs and LPNs to provide healthcare within patients’ homes. The company currently has a position in Herculaneum and the surrounding area. full time, part time, or per diem shifts are available seven days a week. Nurses will work with physicians to develop and manage nursing care plans; instruct patients and their families in proper treatment; and help individuals and groups improve or maintain personal health.
  • Requirements: Qualified candidates must have a current, unencumbered Missouri state license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse; one year of nursing experience required with home health experience preferred; Copy of updated physical exam based on state requirements; copy of updated TB results/chest x-ray; and reliable transportation.   • Three openings for Full-time medical/surgical nurses working the day shift with Saturdays and Sunday off.

Lindbergh Schools Seeks RNs for Substitute Opportunities

  • Are you a registered nurse looking to serve the community? Lindbergh Schools has an immediate need for registered nurses to join the district’s Nursing Substitute Pool. Nursing Sub Pool members fill in for school nurses in an as-needed basis and receive $105 per day during the 2011-2012 school year.

Golf Course Maintenance Position

  • Pomme Creek Golf Course in Arnold wants to fill a part-time golf course maintenance position. Starting salary is $7.76 per hour. The candidate will work between 20 to 40 hours per week from mid-March 2011 thru November 2011. Duties include: Mowing grass, string trimming, morning setup of the course, landscaping, seeding, light construction, and any other duties deemed necessary by the golf course superintendent.
  • Requirements: Experience is a plus, but not required; Must be punctual and reliable; Must be able to work outdoors in high temperatures, high humidity, rain, wind, and cold temperatures; have a flexible work schedule and able to work some weekend mornings; Able to lift and move 50 lbs. routinely, and able to move 100 lbs. Occasionally; be at least 18 years old; Must pass a drug test and a general physical exam.
