Lambert's Concourse C Reopens
A tornado practically destroyed the concourse barely a year ago.
One year later, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is whole again.
Concourse C, which was devastated in a tornado that touched down barely a year ago (see the video above), reopened Monday. Mayor Francis Slay cut the ribbon, officially marking the concourse as being ready for business.
"The repairs and renovations have made the C Concourse look better than ever," Slay said on the airport's website. "I'm confident that these repairs and upgrades will make traveling through Lambert International Airport an even more enjoyable experience."

The concourse opened six months ahead of schedule and under budget at less than $15 million, according to KSDK.
"Congrats to Lambert Airport! Tornado couldn't tear up the STL spirit that has come back with a new (and) improved C Concourse," tweeted Weather or Not, a weather news website in the Midwest.
