New Year's Eve 2012: Celebrate in South County and St. Louis

Joujin' Spirits with Style is holding their 4th annual New Year's Eve Bash, featuring the Younger Brothers band starting at 8:30 p.m. Call (314) 845-3060 for reservations.

Helen Fitzgerald's will have a champagne midnight toast, drink and shot specials and live music by Metal Studz. Tickets are $70. Crash next door with hotel packages at the Days Inn.

Mile 277 Tap & Grill is bringing in Dance Floor Riot to play your favorite Top 40 hits, and an artist will be painting on canvas for attendence prizes. Tickets are $10 from 7 p.m. to close.

If you're celebrating with a family...

First Night in Grand Center is a family-friendly event that draws nearly 25,000 people. Enjoy 60 performances at more than 12 venues, a free fantastic firework display and free outdoor shows throughout the evening. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids.

If midnight is just too late, celebrate New Year's at noon at The Magic House in Kirkwood. The celebration runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

If you're in the mood to dance...

The St. Louis institution Blueberry Hill is hosting live music from Schaffrin and Loud Mouth Soup. The show starts at 9 p.m., and tickets are $35.

Plush's New Year's Eve Show features The Randy Dandies as well as Jake Austin & the City Limits. Tickets are $10.
