Community Corner

Home Alone

St. Anthony’s Medical Center offers “Home Alone,” an entertaining workshop designed to prepare children, ages 8 to 11, to look after themselves during times when there is not any adult supervision.  Children will learn important skills through interactive lessons and role playing that help make both parents and children more confident when they are at home alone.

The workshop will be presented by St. Anthony’s Community Outreach staff from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18 (Presidents’ Day), in classroom 122 of the Hyland Education & Training Center, 10020 Kennerly Road, on the campus of St. Anthony’s.

Cost is $20 per child.  Class size is limited and advance registration is required.  For more information or to register, call 314-ANTHONY (268-4669) or 1-800-554-9550; or visit www.stanthonysmedcenter.com.
