St. Anthony’s Offers Cholesterol Testing to Community

St. Anthony’s Medical Center offers cholesterol testing to the community from 8 to 11 a.m. every Thursday of the month.

The test requires a 12-hour fast and includes screening for total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoproteins, low-density lipoproteins, risk ratio, and glucose test.  Avoiding alcohol for 48 hours prior to the test is recommended.

A free blood pressure check will be provided as part of the testing process.  A copy of the cholesterol test results will be provided at the time of testing.

Cholesterol testing is available at St. Anthony’s Employee Health and Wellness Department, located on the 2nd floor of the Hyland Education and Training Center, 10020 Kennerly Road, on the campus of St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

The cost of the test is $30.  Appointments are required.  Appointments are available by calling 314-ANTHONY (268-4669) or 1-800-554-9550.
