What’s your level of selfishness in your marriage? Do you care more about me than you do about we? The world we live in tells us that if you choose we over me you will lose yourself in the relationship. So we allow fear to overtake us and we are never really able to fully see the benefit of becoming one as God intended. When that goes by the wayside, couples begin to function independently instead of as a team. Over a period of time you begin to feel distant and disconnected from your spouse. The only true marriage connection that can last a lifetime is one where couples make a CHOICE to put we before me.
The Marriage Care Team at Faith Lutheran Church (6101 Telegraph) along with Pastor Andy Sharpe (Windsor Crossing) and his wife, Lisa, will share what it looks like to do married life as a we. Learn how each time you choose we, you grow - and watch your relationship flourish! So what’s your me to we ratio? Need some improvement? Do you experience times of sacrificing your wants and needs for your spouse? Do you see your spouse making sacrifices? It’s never too late to make a change. No matter how difficult you imagine it to be, the benefits to your marriage will be unimaginable!
