Notes From Home featuring

St. Louis' favorite local showcase, Notes From Home features the best and brightest talent in the Midwest! Selected weeknights, local artists converge on The Sheldon's stage performing all styles of vocal and instrumental jazz, classical, folk, blues and gospel music. Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. (unless noted otherwise) and generally feature local acts performing two 45-minute sets.

Home-towners Phoebe Claggett and Preston Clarke team up to create a memorable night of great music in the fine acoustics of The Sheldon.

Phoebe Claggett is a singer/songwriter whose music is a fusion of classic pop and soul (think Sara Barielles meets Norah Jones). Her soulful voice, compelling lyrics, and original piano style make for a unique and mellow sound. Claggett has performed at venues across the country, and for special events locally at COCA, The Contemporary Art Museum, and the Whitaker Series.

Singer/songwriter Preston Clarke's music was described by the Village Voice as 'a stew of Jazzy folk with a splash of flamenco sauce' but he just thinks of it as a more eclectic approach to pop. His music has been featured in various film and TV projects on HBO, PBS and TLC among others, including a live performance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
