St. Louis Teachers Recycle Center is Now Open in Lemay!

Non-profit St. Louis Teachers’ Recycle Centers is growing with a new location in Lemay! The new reusable resource center located in STL Venture Works at 315 Lemay Ferry Road, Warehouse 111, is now open every Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm.

“I am so excited to offer resources and services to South Saint Louis County families, educators, schools and community groups,” said Blandford. “We are very grateful to the Lemay Chamber of Commerce, STL Venture Works and local businesses and groups who are supporting our mission of creative reuse and learning.  St. Louis Teachers’ Centers is looking for volunteers and artists who share our vision to join us at all our locations,” added Blandford.

The art and environmental creativity St. Louis Teachers’ Recycle Centers is known for will be featured at other community events ahead this fall! Everyday can be a party for the planet with St. Louis Teachers’ Traveling Recycle Center, “VanGo”! You can schedule a stop at your school, business, civic group or event. This is a mobile arts and treasure center with ready to fill bags of FREE OR LOW COST recycled “gems.” You will see the “VanGo” at many community and civic events, including our very own Taste of Lemay on November 8th!

“Play Your Art Out” SLTRC Studios offer birthday parties for youngsters and the young at heart. Book your party through http://www.sltrc.com/. There are also workshops and seminars for all ages because we never outgrow creative play!
