Sen. Lembke Volunteers with Lemay Housing Partnership

The Senator partnered with the partnership to improve homes in Lemay.

Saturday, Sen. Jim Lembke joined volunteers from the Lemay Housing Partnership, Inc. (LHP) and made repairs on three homes in the Lemay area. 

"Community service is what makes my district such a great place to call home— people care for each other," Lembke said in a release from LHP.

LHP helps low-income residents of Lemay by removing debris, repairing their home and improving landscaping.

Volunteers from , Historic Trinity Lutheran Church and Eliot Chapel also participated in the volunteer day. 

In 2011 so far, LHP and area volunteers have provided services to 25 Lemay homes.
