St. Anthony's Organization Raises $10K for the Hancock Health Center

The hospital's Physician Ambassadors organization raised the money to keep the center afloat for the next year.

doctors raised $10,000 for the Hancock Health Center so the clinic could stay open for the 2012-2013 school year.

The center’s future looked grim after budget cuts from the Hancock Place School District. It's been open for 10 years and gives free healthcare for any resident living in the school district.

“The Physician Ambassadors are proud to provide the funding allowing this established clinic to continue operations in an underserved area,” said Joseph Forand, M.D., chairman of St. Anthony’s Charitable Foundation’s Physician Ambassadors in a release. “We are especially proud that one of our own, Dr. David Campbell, maintains this clinic.”
